Above is the tomb of George Washington located in Mount Vernon, Virginia. To the left of his tomb is his wife Martha Washington. Obviously I was not born in the 1700's so I never actually met George Washington, but so far this is the closest I have come to "meeting" a president.
It was a pleasant surprise to find our first president's tomb while visiting Mount Vernon, and hopefully I can follow up this post after meeting one of our living presidents. :)
