Year after year I hear about how fabulous Restaurant Week is, but something would always come up that would interfere with me joining in on the fun. This year my cousin took the initiative and we chose to go to Jake's Del Mar. It's a fancy little restaurant right on the beach, and because it was raining the beach was desserted, therefore we were able to enjoy an ocean view that was not infested with people.
I am definitely coming back. For $30 we had Crispy Calamari (best I have ever had), Macadamia Nut Crusted Salmon (I need to learn how to make this), and Hula Pie (I love having cold food on cold days!). YUM YUM YUM!
