Can you believe that with my love for bubble baths, and my obsession with candles I have never combined the two?
Granted, it has been years since I've even had a bubble bath, and I'm sure San Diego thanks me for that! Even though I am just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, we are still in a drought....a major drought to be precise.
After having such a relaxing day that started off with a visit to the local Farmer's Market, grabbing some fresh flowers (two for the month of January), getting Baby Brie Crepes from the sweetest French lady, and then being serenaded to "Smelly Cat" while at Trader Joes, I knew this would be a perfect day for a candle lit bubble bath. So I lit up some candles, filled the tub, and then played some Pandora (thanks to my new Blu Ray player that has Pandora). I also applied a mud mask on my face that I had bought while I was in New Zealand (I wish I had more of it after seeing the results!). It was sooo relaxing, and cheaper than getting a full body professional massage! I am definitely going to have them in a regular basis!
What's even better...is that I got all those candles for less than $10. Sweet!

I used to do bubble baths but I can't just sit there and do nothing so I'd try to read, but then the book would get wet and I'd get irritated and then I'd get out. If I could only just SIT and DO NOTHING, I'd probably be a little less keyed up!
Looks so relaxing! I wish I could take bubble baths but doctors orders tell me to stick to showers. Maybe you can order the mud mask online?
