2011 Goals

January 10th, 2011

Some of these aren't on my life list, but are things I have been wanting and meaning to do for awhile:
  1. Buy a domain for this website
  2. Go Sky Diving
  3. Try 52 new recipes for one year
  4. Home Updates:  Get new tile flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen, new light fixtures in the bathrooms, paint all bathrooms, get new baseboards (1/2 way done), update or change all mirrors in bathrooms, get new stainless steel appliances, and buy new ceiling fans.
  5. Go to Comic-Con (I've always been meaning to go, and since it is San Diego I figure why not!  I've just been waiting to buy my tickets and I'm there)- update: Friday tickets bought!
  6. See Mamma Mia (I got my tickets for June!)
  7. Buy fresh flowers every month for at least a year
  8. Make a photo book for every big trip I have taken (Europe, New Zealand & Australia, South America, Europe again, Africa, Caribbean)
  9. Make a video for every big trip I have taken (Europe, New Zealand & Australia, South America, Europe again, Africa, Caribbean)
  10. Lose 52 pounds (average 1 pound a week)
  11. Go on my annual trip to Northern California...and hopefully go to Lake Tahoe or Yosemite
  12. Go on a trip for my 30th (YIKES!) birthday...still deciding where I want to go
  13. Convert old home videos to digital
  14. Take a baking or cake decorating class (took a few more cooking classes but no baking classes)
  15. Buy a full size outside gas grill and host a barbecue
  16. Grow a flower in a flowerpot from seed to full bloom
  17. Learn the Thriller Dance (I am determined to do this!  I bought The Michael Jackson Experience on Wii to help me out a bit)
  18. Go Ice Skating at an Outdoor Skating Rink
  19. Have a candle lit bubble bath
  20. Watch all the Star Wars movies  (added all on my netflix list)
Okay...okay I'll stop...I think that is enough to last me two years.  :)

Dang girl, you've been everywhere! I think it's great that you've set goals to help preserve those memories. Congrats on the new domain as well :)
